Macao will hold three exhibitions late next month to help exhibitors and fairgoers expand their online business and explore new opportunities, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) has announced.

The 25th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (25th MIF), Macao Franchise Expo 2020 (2020 MFE), and 2020 Portuguese-Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (2020 PLPEX) will be held concurrently at the Venetian’s Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Cotai on 22-24 October, the government-run institute said in a recent statement.

The three exhibitions aim to provide professional networking and matching services, the statement said.

Participants can register on the event’s online business matching service platform to arrange meetings in advance. For the first time, the online matching service will be provided for participants unable to attend the exhibitions in person.

The three simultaneous fairs aim to facilitate the cross-border movement of goods amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the statement.
