Macao’s premier trade fair partners with Shanghai for the first time, expected to draw thousands of participants on and offline from around the world.

The 26th edition of the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) will take place from 10 to 12 December at the Venetian, Cotai, in parallel with the Macao Franchise Expo 2021 (2021 MFE) and the 2021 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2021 PLPEX), Benson Lau Wai Meng, president of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), has announced. 

Sam Lei, IPIM’s executive director,  said that the three events would draw some 920 local and regional companies, spread over 1,710 stands.

Due to the current pandemic, the three events will also involve 1,000 companies online with 2,200 products from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Canada, Germany and Morocco.

Lau said that this year MIF would partner with  Shanghai for the first time at an event named “Wine of the World – Shanghai Wine List”.
