The Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) announced today that they have decided to postpone the class resumption for non-tertiary education schools.

DSEJ said this decision was made in consideration to the Health Bureau’s opinions “due to changes of the epidemic situation” and after assessing the effects on the epidemic brought on by the recent imported cases and returnees from overseas.

Previously, the DSEJ had scheduled that Form 6 students could return to schools for revision and tutoring on March 3. Classes for other grades were scheduled to resume in phases from 13th April onwards.

The new date for resuming classes will be announced later according to the development of the epidemic.
