The Consulate General of Mozambique in Macau has just launched its website at http://www.mozconsulate-macau.org.mo with information about issuing documents, including visas, and the main legislations of the country.

The new website also includes daily economic information and pictures of Mozambique and Macau.

The launch of the website coincides with the presence in Macau of Prime Minister Carlos do Rosario, who heads the delegation of Mozambique to the 5th Macau Forum Conference, taking place on 11 and 12 October.

The Consul General, Rafael Marques, said the website aims to respond to growing demands resulting from “the general dynamic of cooperation with China in general and in particular with Macau as a platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries with regard to the promotion of business activities, investment and in a cultural context. ”

“Mozambique has significant resources that can attract the interest of entities from China and Macau. It is also considered to be one of Southern African countries with the best conditions for tourism and wealth creation. In this context, we invite the business sector of Macau and China, to invest in Mozambique, and for that purpose rely on the collaboration of the Consulate General of Mozambique,” said Marques in a message on the new website.
