Carrie Lam to arrive for two-day visit Monday

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor will arrive in Macao Monday afternoon for a two-day working visit, Hong Kong’s Information Services Department (ISD) announced.

Lam will address Tuesday’s opening ceremony of the First Conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum (ISTIF) of Boao Forum for Asia, according to a ISD statement.

According to the statement, Secretary for Innovation and Technology Alfred Sit Wing-hang, and the director of Lam’s office, Eric Chan Kwok-ki, will join the two-day visit.

Lam will return to Hong Kong on Tuesday afternoon. 

During her absence Chief Secretary for Administration Matthew Cheung Kin-chung will be Acting Chief Executive, the statement said.
