Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia said in a statement on Thursday that it is rescheduling its events scheduled for this year in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a statement from the organisers received by The Macau Post Daily, Gs2E Asia will return to the Venetian in Cotai on 25-27 May 2021.

Originally, the fair was scheduled for May this year, then postponed to July.

The organisers said that G2E Asia@the Philippines will reconvene at the Manila Marriot Hotel on 10-11 November 2021.

“We made this difficult decision to postpone our 2020 events as continued travel and commercial restrictions present too much uncertainty,” the statement said, adding that “by shifting our focus to 2021, we can ensure that we meet the high expectations for these events that we share with our valued attendees and exhibitors.

“G2E Asia, and its organisers the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, are grateful for your continued support and apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause,” the statement said, adding that the decision was “based on our continued monitoring of the global health crisis and in consultation with our customers and the local authorities.”
