Travellers entering Zhuhai from Macao must report the place where they live, implement three-day self-health monitoring at home or in a hotel and undertake three nucleic acid tests (NAT), one per day from the date of arrival, Zhuhai health authorities announced today.

In addition, they are urged not to go out “unless necessary” and to avoid using public transport, going to public places, or attending group dinners or gatherings.

Those who need to return to Macao for work must travel point-to-point from where they undergo self-health monitoring directly to the Zhuhai-Macao border and avoid stopping anywhere in between.

The Zhuhai authorities said everyone must strictly abide by these measures, which also apply to those who have entered Zhuhai from Macao since 29 October. Anyone found violating the measures will be dealt with in accordance with the law, authorities announced.
